Security & trust
Built to earn your trust, not spend it.
You are handing us photographs of something you own and are trying to sell. Here is how they are treated, in plain terms.
Your photos stay yours
You own the pictures you upload and everything made from them. They are stored privately, used only to prepare your listing, and never shown to anyone else or used to advertise anything.
Nothing is posted for you
Lotsmith has no connection to Facebook, Craigslist, a marketplace, or your website, and it never asks for a password to one. It hands you a folder. Where that folder goes is entirely your decision.
It never invents vehicle facts
The description is written only from what you typed. It is not allowed to state a feature, an option, a service record, a warranty, or financing terms you did not give it. Tell it nothing and it writes nothing, rather than guessing.
It re-photographs, it does not redesign
The paint, the wheels, the trim, and the condition come out the way they went in. A studio background replaces the scene behind the vehicle. It does not touch the vehicle.
Nothing is read from your website
There is no inventory feed, no sync, and no crawler. Lotsmith knows about a vehicle because you uploaded photos of it, and knows nothing else about your business.
You can have it deleted
Ask and your account and everything in it goes, photos included. The steps are on the data deletion page, and there is no retention period we quietly hold you to.
On what we do not do
The shortest list is the one worth reading.
Lotsmith is not a CRM, an inventory system, a publishing tool, or a scheduler. It does one job: it takes the photos you already have of one vehicle and hands back a listing that looks like it was shot professionally. Everything it will not do is a thing that cannot go wrong, and a password it never has to hold.
Want the details?
Ask us anything about how it works.
If you have a specific question about how your photos are handled, ask before you upload one. We would rather answer it up front.
