Selling one vehicle
Your car is fine. The photos are the problem.
Two identical trucks go up on the same afternoon. One was shot at a dealership under lights. Yours was shot in the driveway at four o'clock with a shadow across the hood and a wheelie bin in the corner. The other one sells first, and it has nothing to do with the truck. Send us the photos you already took and we will hand them back looking like the first one.
First vehicle free, no card. After that it is $8, once, for that vehicle.
Why this is eight dollars
You are selling one car. You should not be subscribing to anything.
Every other tool that does this bills monthly, because they are built for dealerships with a lot to get through. You are not going to use it next month. You are going to use it once, this weekend, and then the car will be gone.
So Lotsmith charges for the vehicle rather than for the month. Your first one is free with no card, and if you like what comes back the next one is eight dollars. There is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing running.
That price covers everything for that vehicle: up to twenty five photos, the video, and the written description. Not eight dollars a photo, and not eight dollars for the first thing and more for the rest.
How it goes
Three steps, and one of them is optional.
Photograph it however you can
Your phone, your driveway, whatever light there is. Walk around it, get the inside, and do not worry about the bins in the background or the shadow across the hood. That is the part we fix.
Say what it is, or do not
Year, make, model, miles, price if you know it. Leave the whole thing blank and you still get your photos prepared and a video cut. Fill it in and we also write the description you can paste into the listing.
Download the folder and post it
Every photo prepared and numbered, a vertical video for Marketplace or Reels, and the description as a text file. It is yours. Lotsmith does not post anything anywhere, and never asks for your Facebook login.
What we will not do
The car in the photo is the car in your driveway.
We change the light and the room behind the vehicle. We do not change the vehicle. The paint, the wheels, the trim, and every mark on it come back exactly as they went in, and there is a check in the pipeline whose only job is to make sure of that.
That matters more to you than it does to a dealership. You are going to meet a stranger in a car park, and the fastest way to lose that sale is for them to walk up to a car that does not match the pictures.
Lotsmith also posts nothing. It has no connection to Marketplace, Craigslist, or anywhere else, and it will never ask you for a password to one. You get a folder and you post it yourself.
When not to bother
Three times this is not worth eight dollars.
If you are selling to CarMax, Carvana, or a dealer taking it in on trade, you do not need a listing at all. Nobody is browsing photos. Go and get the number.
If you already shot it on an overcast morning against a plain wall and the pictures look good, you have done the work. A clean car in soft light is most of this, and a thirty dollar hand wash beats any amount of processing.
And if the car is priced above what it is worth, better photos will get you more people looking and the same number buying. Photography fixes a listing nobody clicks. It does not fix a price.
Try it on the car in your driveway
Free once, and you keep whatever comes back.
Upload the photos you already took. A few minutes later you have prepared pictures, a vertical video, and the written listing, and you can hold them up against what you were about to post. If it is not better, you have lost nothing.
